Meet Pierre Chambon

Pierre’s scientific achievements are numerous; the discovery of multiple RNA polymerases (1969); the discovery of animal split genes (1977); and a marked contribution to the discovery of the superfamily of nuclear receptors (1987). He is also Honorary Professor at the Collège de France (Paris); and Emeritus Professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the Strasbourg University.
