Meet Daria Donati

Daria is Chief Scientific Officer of Genomic Medicine at Cytiva, where she helps guide scientific strategy for technologies supporting the development and manufacture of cell, gene, and genomic medicines. With more than 20 years of experience across research, global health, business development, manufacturing strategy, and innovation, she has become an influential voice on how advanced therapies can move from scientific promise to scalable delivery.

Her recent work has focused on shaping the conversation around the industrialization of cell and gene therapies. For Daria, the central challenge is system integration: connecting biology, analytics, process design, data, regulation, and clinical delivery. She is also active in industry organizations including the Alliance for mRNA Medicines and continues to advocate for women’s representation in life sciences, mentorship, and more inclusive leadership across the sector.
