Jane is Chief Scientific Officer at Alchemab, where she oversees the company’s drug discovery work using patient-derived antibody responses to identify new therapeutic targets and candidates. Prior to joining Alchemab, she served as Vice President of R&D at MedImmune, AstraZeneca’s biologics arm, where she contributed to the development of antibody phage display technology and to the discovery and development of marketed antibody therapies including adalimumab and durvalumab.
Jane’s influence extends across the wider UK biotech ecosystem. She chairs the Cambridge-based cell therapy company Mogrify, is a member of the Crick Translational Advisory Group, and has served on the boards of the UK BioIndustry Association, Babraham Bioscience Technologies, and Cambridge Enterprise. Awarded an OBE and Scrip’s Lifetime Achievement Award in 2019, she continues to combine deep antibody expertise with translational leadership in biologics discovery.
