Meet L. Andres Sirulnik

Andres leads Regeneron’s Hematology Global Clinical Development Unit, with responsibility for strategic program direction across blood cancers and blood disorders. A physician-scientist and former practicing hematologist-oncologist, he previously held senior clinical development roles at Merus and Novartis, as well as clinical roles at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical School.

Under his leadership, Regeneron has advanced a broad hematology portfolio spanning bispecific antibodies, siRNA, antibody-based approaches, and other emerging modalities. Recent milestones include pivotal data for cemdisiran, an investigational subcutaneous siRNA therapy for generalized myasthenia gravis; continued development of Lynozyfic and Ordspono in blood cancers; and positive Phase 2 results for two novel Factor XI antibodies in thrombosis. Andres’ work reflects a modality-agnostic approach to development: starting with the disease biology and selecting the technology best suited to the patient need.
