Meet J. Jean Cui

Jean has made major contributions to oncology drug discovery and development over a career spanning more than 25 years. She led the design and development of three marketed cancer medicines: repotrectinib, crizotinib, and lorlatinib. She was also the scientific founder of Turning Point Therapeutics, where her work on overcoming drug resistance helped build a clinical-stage oncology pipeline before the company was acquired by Bristol Myers Squibb for $4.1 billion.

Now at BlossomHill Therapeutics, Jean is applying her expertise in targeted small molecule design to address treatment resistance in cancer. Her work continues to show how precise chemical design can translate into meaningful new options for patients.
