Chief Research and Development Officer, Curve Therapeutics
Rab joined Curve Therapeutics as Chief Research and Development Officer in November 2024, bringing more than 20 years of experience leading discovery programs and collaborations across immunology, oncology, neuroscience, and epigenetics. At GSK, he held senior roles including Head of the Immunology Research Unit and Head of Epigenetics, with teams under his leadership delivering more than 15 clinical candidates and over 30 new targets.
At Curve, Rab guides R&D strategy as the company applies its mammalian cell-based Microcycle discovery platform to difficult intracellular targets in cancer, immunology, and inflammation. His work is focused on translating the promise of cyclic peptides and macrocycle-derived small molecules into a pipeline of first-in-class therapeutic candidates.
“The drug discovery world is not divided into just small molecules or antibodies. There is a whole other world between and around them that will be populated by the next generation of innovative cyclic peptides, bringing the pharmacological benefits of those two extremes together into an emerging, powerful therapeutic space.”
