Catalent Biologics has announced a $200 million investment in its manufacturing and fill/finish capabilities.
The investment will see two new manufacturing suites, each with a 2 x 200 liter single use bioreactor system installed at Catalent’s Madison, Wisconsin facility; and new high speed flexible vial and syringe/cartridge lines installed in a new, 79,000 sq. ft. expansion of fill/finish capacity at Bloomington, Indiana.
Catalent Biologics’ network also includes SMARTag® antibody-drug conjugate development technology in Emeryville, California, prefilled syringe services in Brussels, Belgium, and a network of biologics analytical laboratories and clinical supply sites around the globe.

In January 2019, Catalent commenced a $200 million strategic investment program to expand drug substance and drug product manufacturing capacity at its sites in Madison, Wisconsin and Bloomington, Indiana.
