NASA’s Perseverance Rover drove on Mars for the first time last week, after touching down in February. The high-definition photos of the planet’s surface are spectacular, and I couldn’t help but wonder when we’ll see the first human footsteps trodden into the Martian dust. But when humans are eventually dispatched to explore the Red Planet, they’ll need many supplies: including medicine.
