Lee Cronin

Founder and CEO, Chemify; Regius Professor of Chemistry, University of Glasgow, UK
Lee has published over 450 papers, given over 600 lectures, and written extensively on all aspects of science, including the origin of life. His goal is to revolutionize drug discovery through the combination of chemistry, robotics, and AI at scale – known as “chemputation” – to digitally design, discover and make small molecules. With an interest in electronics and chemistry since childhood, Lee’s work at the University of Glasgow on the digitization of chemistry has resulted in a new programming paradigm for matter and organic synthesis and discovery, which uses the world’s first domain-specific and universal programming language for chemistry.
