Welcome to CPhI Europe!
The highlights of the trade show and its conference agenda - day 1
Welcome to Milan, where we kick off our trio of special newsletters dedicated to the event and some of its unmissable action. Did you know that Milan was founded in around 400 BC under the name Medhelanon? This was later latinized during the Roman Empire into Mediolanum, meaning “Middle Plane.”
Speaking of planes, I hope you had an enjoyable flight and are ready to disseminate your expertise, as more than 60,000 attendees are expected during this year’s show. In our daily newsletters, you will find what we think will be among the highlights of the trade show and its conference agenda, but of course, you will have your own so why not let me know them, and share your CPHI Milan experience with me: [email protected].

Thought of the Day
“Going forward, CDMOs must continue to demonstrate flexibility in response to changes in the market and adapt to enable accelerated timelines. By leveraging their previous experience, expertise, and carefully designed facilities, such organizations will be poised to help meet the ever growing demand for both large- and small-scale production of mRNA-based medicines.”

Following a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and a Master’s in Creative Writing, I entered the world of publishing as a proofreader, working my way up to editor. The career so far has taken me to some amazing places, and I’m excited to see where I can go with Texere and The Medicine Maker.
