Roll up, roll up! Nominations for our 2023 Innovation Awards are now open! The Awards put the spotlight on suppliers; companies who contribute to the pharma industry by developing technologies and service offerings for drug developers.
What’s the background?
The Medicine Maker celebrates the Innovation Awards annually. The Awards showcase innovation in drug development and manufacturing technologies released over the course of the year.
What are the rules?
The technology must have been released (or be planned for release) in 2023 and must be expected to have a significant impact on drug development or manufacture.
The innovation can be a piece of equipment, IT software, formulation technology, drug delivery method, or any other innovation that you think could fit the bill. We consider technology for all types of drug modalities, including cell and gene therapies, traditional small molecules, and biopharmaceuticals.
If you're unsure just drop an email to [email protected] with any queries.
How do I nominate?
It's easy - simply fill in this quick form. Nominations will close on October 10.
Due to the volume of entries we expect to receive, we will only contact those chosen to be highlighted in the December issue. Unfortunately we are unable to acknowledge receipt of entry.
What happens next?
Nominations will be reviewed and the top technologies will be highlighted in December, both online and in a print issue of The Medicine Maker. If you’re curious about how this looks, check out our 2022 Innovation Awards showcase – available here and published in the 2022 December issue of The Medicine Maker.
The final winner will be decided by a public vote in early 2024 and will have the opportunity to discuss their innovation in more detail in a future issue of The Medicine Maker.
Who won last year’s Innovation Awards?
The winner was Lubrizol Life Science Health’s Apisolex Polymer – an injectable-grade excipient that can help enhance the solubility of BCS class II and IV APIs by around 50,000 fold. Look forward to reading a detailed article about this tech in the July/August 2023 issue of The Medicine Maker.
We want to know what you think are (or will be) the most groundbreaking.
