John C. Lechleiter

Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer, Eli Lilly and Company

John joined Lilly in 1979 as a senior organic chemist in process research and development, and became head of that department in 1982. He has served as president and CEO since April 2008 and became chairman of the board of directors in January 2009.
