Martin VanTrieste is the president of Civica Rx, a company founded in 2018 in response to drug shortages and high prices. Prior to setting up the company, he held positions in the Parenteral Drug Association and was a special advisor to FDAzilla. “From a professional perspective, I recognize now more than ever the importance of using my experience and expertise to help improve the safety and availability of vital medicines for patients. I feel a deep responsibility to give back and influence improvements to the pharmaceutical supply chain in innovative ways – and that is incredibly fulfilling.”
