Thursday is the Deadline
Nominations and voting for the Power List, Company of the Year Awards, and Innovation Awards ends on Thursday March 17
The Medicine Maker is preparing to celebrate the pharmaceutical industry like never before! In April, we’ll reveal the winners of the Power List, the Company of the Year Awards, and the Innovation Awards. Making good medicines requires good companies, good technology, and outstanding people. With these awards, we will celebrate all three.
The Power List
Our annual Power List is now in its seventh iteration. The list celebrates inspiring individuals across the pharma industry – from R&D scientists, to manufacturing, to business leaders, and beyond – whose hard work and dedication is helping to advance the field of drug development.
The 2022 list will feature 10 such individuals in three categories: Small Molecule Manufacture, Biopharmaceuticals, and Advanced Medicine.
You can nominate by filling in this form. We welcome you to nominate people from all walks of life in the pharma industry: mentors, colleagues, inspirational peers… every nomination received is considered.

The Company of the Year Awards
Why stop at people? It takes an entire company to develop and commercialize a new medicine or groundbreaking new approach to development. Our inaugural Company of the Year Awards puts companies in the spotlight.
There are six categories for these Awards: Best Big Pharma (we know you all have a favorite!), Best Biopharma Equipment Company, Best CDMO, Best API Supplier, Best Processing Equipment Company, and the Biggest Talking Point (which company making headlines over the last 12 months has impressed you the most?).
Using market data and other sources, we have put together a list of contenders for each category. But if you don’t agree with our choices, then you can also select “Other” and tell us the name.
The Innovation Awards
And the final piece of April’s grand celebration will be… equipment and technology. Specifically, we’re focusing on commercialized systems and technologies that can be used to enhance drug development or manufacturing – think clever formulation approaches, manufacturing systems, tablet presses, bioreactors, cell lines, cell kits, IT platforms and more.
The shortlist for the Innovation Awards has already been published. These technologies launched during 2021 and were selected for the shortlist based on the fact that they have the potential to have a significant impact on drug development and manufacturing.
Now it’s over to you. Which piece of tech is truly the best?
See you at the celebration in April! All of the Awards will be published on our website. You can also register to receive the print version.
