Nominations for the 2024 Innovation Awards Are Open
The Medicine Maker’s annual Innovation Awards celebrate the top launches of the year for drug development and manufacturing technology
| 2 min read | News
What new drug development and manufacturing technologies are reshaping the industry? The Medicine Maker Innovation Awards recognize breakthrough technology released onto the market over the course of 2024. New equipment, software, instruments, formulation technology, and other innovations from any area of drug development and manufacture launched so far this year are eligible – and there's still half a year of potential innovation ahead of us.
We accept nominations from individuals, groups, or organizations. Vendors are encouraged to submit their latest and greatest products, but we would also like to hear from those of you using the technology “in the trenches” in labs and factories.
The nomination form is available here. You simply need to fill out the name of the technology, release date, and why you feel it deserves a place in our Innovation Awards.
Remember, we can only consider the innovations that have been nominated. Nominations will close on October 15.
The process
All nominations will be considered for the awards. However, we will disqualify any entries released before October 2023. A short list of the top technologies will be published online and in print in December 2024 (check out the 2023 short list showcase here). Because of the large volume of nominations received, we will only contact companies who have been chosen to appear in the short list. Unfortunately, we are unable to acknowledge receipt of entries.
And how do we decide which technology trumps the rest? All technologies included in the showcase will be put to a public vote at the end of the year. The technology with the most votes will be our grand winner – and will have the opportunity to discuss their innovation in more detail in an article with The Medicine Maker.
Previous winners
Previous winners include Enprotect (Lonza, Capsules and Health Ingredients), Apisolex polymer (Lubrizol Life Science Health), Connected Workplace – Calibration (Nuvolo), and Smart Container (Schott Pharma).
